The G.E. girls enjoyed an eventful summer. It began the moment they got off the bus as they descended upon the Gables which was to remain their "home base" for the eight weeks.
The socials were a big event for them. The greatest of all being the prom, entitled "Sayonara." Their comments regarding the prom were. . . "its the best one ever", and "it was fantastic!"
The prom was a beginning of an end. The beginning of the last weeks activities in camp and an ending to the season as a whole. After the prom, the camp musical "Guys and Dolls" followed in which half of the girls in this group were participants.
The banquet topped everything, as we all filled ourselves to the brim with scrumptious food. After the banquet we had the traditional floating of the wishes, many of which were to return to Arcady, to their home, the Gables, and their friends!
