1966-inter-b-boys
The Inter-B Boys, with all twelve campers returning for at least their second year, have proved to the camp that they are the best frog catchers this side of Lake George. Sparked by a trail catch of twelve frogs early in July, the Boys proved their prowess by catching a record 80 frogs in 30 minutes at Green Pond. To top that, the boys ran a very successful frog racing booth on Carnival Day, which attracted many a toad loving fan.

Another favorite activity of the campers was hikes. Many new recipes were learned on the sunrise breakfast, and supper cookouts. The overnight hike to Nob1es Island was characterised by the most efficient O.D. fire coverage of the year.

The athletic teams, coached by counselors Fred Lamere and Dave Zeemont, compiled a won-lost record of five wins and one defeat in competition with camps Walden and Silver Bay. Set back by a loss in softball in their first intercamp game, the team showed they had that comeback quality when they went on to win five straight in soccer and newcombe.

Other highlights during the summer included a trip to Shelbourne Museum in Vermont, a water fight against the counselor staff, and many unscheduled activities (Toilet paper fights) which kept the counselors on their toes.

The most important fact though, aside from the good times experienced by all, was that every individual in the group made close friendships and improved in most areas of his daily routine. It is looking back over the advances made by each camper that the counselor staff wishes the group every success for the coming year, and the hope of seeing them all back at Camp Arcady next summer.
