Army Navy Day, 12:00 P.M. pizza parties, a sailing overnight to Temple Knolls, inter-camp and
challenge games, Popsie League basketball, sunrise hikes, trips to Lake Placid, Lake Dunmore
and Saratoga, Zimbor Hunt, and camper counselor day were only a few of the group activities
which highlighted the Senior A Boys' summer. Throughout the year the emphasis was placed on a
diversification of activities, with athletic competition and instruction marking the program.
The boys responded well to the coaching of their counselors and specialists as they gained four
inter-camp game victories as well as posting five wins in challenge contests against other
groups. In all their games played, determination and spirit reached all their actions with the
exception of clean up in the morning. And, who could expect otherwise from a group of sixteen,
l3 year old boys.
