Once upon a time, ten girls came to Camp Arcady. They were the Senior A girls. They started out
to prove that the smallest group in camp could be the best - a little mischievous, a little corny,
but the best. Their memories speak for themselves: crazy hat night - "Everybody loves a
clown"....skit night - well, nobody's perfect... the half-baked cake... success at last - the
carnival booth... Slime... the Green Hornet... Timothy Tyler... diets?... the Cornball Club...
the Peskin Clan - mad Libs (good clean fun)... (very) crazy night.... the kitchen raid - "Don't
put off 'til 12:30 what can be done at 10:00".... delightful memories of eclairs ... frizzy curls,
clips, Lilt, "poof!" - straight hair.... sailing to the overnight - truly a compulsory general
swim.... sailing... Saratoga, Lake Dunmore, Lake Placid,... the counselor show "more", dedicated
to the Senior Girls... and the Shangri-la that was the prom. On Final Group Night and the night
of the banquet the memories spoke. The girls reminisced and were sad in an "unsad" way. On August
25th, ten girls, the Senior A Girls, left Camp Arcady. Oh, yes, they did live happily ever after -
especially happy after their summer it Camp Arcady. P.S. You see, good things Do come in small packages.
