1966-soph-boys
When the buses arrived at Arcady in June, the Soph Boys went to their bunk and became acquainted. On the front porch they saw a Black Bat, which was later to become their symbol. During the course of the year, the boys built a bat cave. From this, originated our name, "The Batboys."

Some of our activities were soccer, baseball, and arts and crafts. We celebrated Christmas, had a carnival, and also celebrated Halloween. During Christmas we had a pinada, snowball fights, and presents. On Halloween, we dressed up and went trick or treating. For our final group night we had an Indian campfire. We cooked corn and saw a fire hoop dance. We all enjoyed our year.
