We are not sure how we came by the yearbooks in our possession from 1966 and 1967. I think we took them on one of our journeys back to the camp shortly after it closed. Maybe we came by them more legitimately. When we visited the camp -- and some of you might have done the same -- we found the rec hall exactly as it had been left on the last day of camp. Around the great double fireplace, on the walls in that great room, were photographs left from Visiting Day. It was overwhelming. We took some, not too many.
Although the memories of Arcady seem so salient to us, the photographs bring back a wash of other memories. The clay tennis courts, waterskiing, cookouts, corn on the cob. We've tried to include many of the photos from the yearbooks. A handful of from photo albums we had. The quality of the photos is not great, partly from the years and partly due to the original quality.
But it's photos such as these that lead to daydreaming...
So travel through our online photo album, and see where it takes you.

Slide Show
Some of you may remember that one of the things that Eddie Trenner did as camp director was to show prospective camper families a slide show of the camp. This November, Ed Trenner and I reminisced about Arcady and he thought the slides might look good on the web site. We've scanned them and cleaned them up a bit! Some of them have changed color in the nearly forty years since they were first taken...but we've done our best. Enjoy the show.
